The third edition of the Tunisie Challenge is fast taking shape. Next Monday, January 30, we will open registrations as we continue working diligently on wrapping up the itinerary.<\/h2>\n

This year will see only one edition, unlike the two that were held, exceptionally, in 2022, due to the borders with Morocco being closed in spring. The event, which will take place from October 11 to 20, will begin in Hammamet,<\/strong> where the administrative and technical verifications will also be completed, ending on the island of Djerba, where the traditional prize ceremony will take place.<\/p>\n

The first stage will take us from Hammamet to Tozeur and will start with a beach run of some 30 km. A good start for an unforgettable adventure. This stage will just be an appetiser of what is in store for us. In the second stage, which ends in Douz, we will have already entered the desert and the sand dunes of the Grand Erg Oriental will accompany us for the next three spectacular stages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the main novelties of this third edition will be that the third stage will end in Tembaine, in the heart of the Jebil National Park, where the already traditional camp awaits us.<\/strong> A new area full of challenges and discoveries for the Tunisie Challenge, the bivouac will be set up in a dune area. The routes, as always, will be tailored to suit each category.<\/p>\n

After Tembaine we continue on to Matmata and the last stage, as usual, will end in Djerba, where another of the main novelties is planned. Just before reaching the finish line, there will be another route along the beach, about 10 km<\/strong>. This, along with Hammamet, means we will have two exciting beach stretches in this edition.<\/p>\n

Finally, we must emphasise that we are constantly looking for new places, different from those we already know. The stage configuration will be completely different<\/strong> from previous editions. Few parts will remain unchanged, as we strive to find new tracks and areas to constantly renew the spirit of adventure that defines the Tunisie Challenge.<\/p>\n
