The fifth edition of the Tunisie Challenge is taking shape, and this year brings major new features. With just three months to go before the event kicks off in Tunis, the route is practically finalized following the scouting done in May.<\/h2>\n

Among the highlights are a prologue stage to determine the starting order, the start of the first stage and the end of the fifth on a beach section, the crossing of vast areas of the Sahara Desert, and the introduction of two new categories.<\/p>\n

For the first time, the city of Tunis will be the starting point of the Tunisie Challenge. As soon as participants disembark, the administrative checks will be carried out, followed by the prologue. This 5-kilometre section will take place on Friday, 10 October, on Gammarth beach.<\/p>\n

The first stage will begin on Saturday, 11 October, departing from the capital and heading through a completely new area from Tunis to Sousse via the Cap Bon peninsula. The route will alternate between beach stretches and sandy terrain covered with vegetation. The fifth and final stage will end on the island of Djerba, by the sea, after departing from Ksar Ghilane.<\/p>\n

A true festival of sand and dunes has been planned, spanning three days, with two overnight bivouacs in Douz and one near Ksar Ghilane, in a camp set up next to Jebil National Park. Participants will get the chance to enjoy the most spectacular sandy areas of the Tunisian desert, facing greater challenges on terrain dominated by large dune fields.<\/p>\n

To continue offering a space where everyone can grow, two new categories are being introduced: CX4 PRO RAID and PRO RAID TT, allowing experienced participants to further evolve within the event. However, the route will remain accessible to all levels, both mechanically and in terms of driving skills, always preserving the spirit of adventure and personal challenge.<\/p>\n

As always, safety is a top priority: all vehicles must be equipped with roll cages, and crews must wear helmets. The maximum permitted speed will be 90 km\/h.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
