With just over two weeks to go before the fifth edition of the Tunisie Challenge, which will take place from October 11 to 16, registrations have closed with a total of 95 participating teams, a remarkable increase compared to the 2024 edition.
The event, organized with the utmost dedication, comes packed with new features and promises adrenaline, excitement and plenty of adventure at every kilometer.
The route is practically defined and, for the first time, Tunis will be the official starting point. Highlights of this edition include a prologue on Gammarth beach to establish the starting order, the beginning of the first stage and the end of the fifth with spectacular sections on sand, the addition of two new categories and the unique experience of driving through the vast dunes and landscapes of the Sahara desert.
We have prepared a true festival of sand and dunes lasting three intense days, with participants spending two nights in Douz and another near Ksar Ghilane, in a camp set up next to the Jebil National Park.
International participation is once again one of the hallmarks of the event. Italy leads the entry list with 47 teams, almost half of the total, consolidating the rally’s growth in the transalpine country.
In total, there will be representatives from 14 countries: after Italy, France follows with 9 teams, Spain with 8 and Switzerland with 7, followed by Portugal with 5, Poland, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and Hungary with 3 each, Germany and Tunisia with 2, and finally one team each from Belgium, Latvia and Hong Kong.
The 5th Tunisie Challenge is shaping up to be the most international, vibrant and demanding edition in its history.
