The Tunisie Challenge 2026 will celebrate its sixth edition from October 7 to 16, taking a major step forward in its evolution with a completely renewed route, six stages, new exploration areas and a thorough revision of its sporting and logistical approach.

• The event consolidates its position as one of the reference amateur rally-raids in North Africa.

• A better adaptation of pace, routes and daily structure is introduced for the different categories, with the aim of offering a more balanced, coherent and enjoyable experience for a wider variety of teams.

• In 2026, a new category called Lite C is introduced, aimed at lightweight 4×4 vehicles seeking a more accessible route while fully preserving the rally’s spirit of adventure.

• Administrative and technical scrutineering will take place in Tunis, but the rally will start for the first time in Djerba.

• The route will venture deeper than ever into the Grand Erg Oriental, very close to the Borma region, with sand and dunes taking centre stage.

• The Tunisie Challenge will conclude with a brand-new sixth stage, between Tozeur and Mos Espa, the iconic cinematic setting of Star Wars. This will be a waypoint navigation stage, providing a fitting finale to the event and leading into the prize-giving ceremony.
