The third edition of the Tunisie Challenge will be held from October 11 to 20. The event will begin in Hammamet, where  administrative and technical verifications will also take place, ending on the island of Djerba, where the traditional prize ceremony will take place.

In May we are scheduled to carry out the preliminary recons, which this time will be very exhaustive with the aim of finding new landscapes, suitable for all the different categories, for the rally to pass through. The main task during the reconnaissance is to check if the 4×2’s can make it through the route we have initially traced or if alternative solutions must be found.

The first stage will take us from Hammamet to Tozeur and will start out on the beach with a tough stretch of about 30 km. to set us off on this unforgettable adventure. This stage will be just an appetiser of what awaits us in the second, which will end in Douz, where we enter the desert and the Grand Erg Oriental sand dunes, which will take centre stage during three spectacular stages.

One of the main novelties of this third edition, as we announced earlier on, will be that the third stage will end in Tembaine, in the heart of the Jebil National Park and where we will set up the already traditional camp. A new area, open to discovery for the Tunisie Challenge, with plenty of challenges and where the bivouac will be set amongst the dunes. The routes, as always, will be tailored to each  category.

After Tembaine we will proceed to Matmata and the last stage, as usual, will end in Djerba, where another of the main novelties is planned. Just before reaching the finish line, there will be another route of about 10 km. along the beach. With this exciting finale, along with the Hammamet stretch, we will have two long beach routes in this edition.
