The route of the fifth edition of the Tunisie Challenge, taking place from 8 to 17 October, is packed with exciting new features. During the reconnaissance carried out this May, we’ve worked hard to fine-tune the itinerary to meet the demands of both the terrain and the spirit of adventure.

As many of you have seen on our social media, the recon wasn’t without its challenges, but it allowed us to shape a unique edition full of surprises. The route is designed for you to experience the event to the fullest and be captivated by the magnitude of the adventure and the desert. A true challenge for the most daring.

This 2025 edition includes two entirely new stages — Tunis-Sousse and Sousse-Douz, kicking off the rally — along with three revised stages featuring new areas and the longest stretch of dunes ever included in the history of the Tunisie Challenge.

The third stage, a loop around Douz, will be a true festival of sand and dunes. Entirely within the desert, it will be the most demanding stage of this edition. After tackling the ‘impossible dune’, participants will face a 60 km non-stop section of dunes — the longest in Tunisie Challenge history. A relentless and unforgiving stage that showcases the vastness of the Grand Erg Oriental, the largest desert of the Sahara.

The fourth stage will combine dunes and tracks, crossing brand-new zones until reaching Zmela Camp. The final day has been over 50% renewed, bringing freshness to the closing stretch of the route, which ends by the sea in Djerba.
